Being active on social media channels is often a daunting activity and can open up your organization to potential criticism. There is often a significant amount of fear around social media use that exists at all levels of organizations. During this module, students will learn various techniques to assess the risks associated with engaging on social channels, and how to minimize those risks. Additionally, students will learn about crisis communications and how to apply lessons learned from industry case studies to their own organization. Students will also develop their own social media response flow chart that will help them deal with potential risks (based on examples provided).
