This course is a survey of the main developments in the history of Britain (400-1485). Beginning with the collapse of the Roman Empire and ending with the conclusion of Hundred Years" War. It will include such topics as the spread of Christianity, the Anglo-Saxon, Viking and Norman Invasions, the Black Death, the development of kingship, as well as analyses of family and gender history.
