This is a practical course devoted to improving students' critical reading, writing and informal logical analysis skills. Students will learn how to express themselves more clearly by learning how to isolate, criticize, and defend arguments in everyday language. In addition, the course will introduce students to Philosophy by using a series of famous philosophical arguments as examples and exercises for logical analysis. Regular quizzes and short assignments will give students the opportunity to improve continuously throughout the course.
