Prerequisites: 69:255, 69:261, 69:264 and 69:271.

This clinical course provides an opportunity for the psychiatric nursing student to apply skills from prerequisite courses in a clinical setting. Students will demonstrate skills in individual counselling, medical nursing, documentation and nursing care planning, care of the elderly as well as palliative/end of life care. Students will continue to apply knowledge and skill from all previous courses.

120 clinical practise hours per term, one term
