Introduction to Teaching Online

This self-paced course focuses on facilitating learning, rather than designing course structure and curriculum. You will learn how to:
- prepare for teaching before the course starts
- welcome and communicate with students
- collect data on student progress and respond to their needs
- manage the discussion forum
- deliver lectures in a variety of formats
- consider data privacy issues
The modules are not necessarily designed to be taken in a linear fashion. Lessons are numbered to suggest a pathway; however, students will be able to personalize their pathway through the module.
