70:267 Ethics [Elliott]

Prerequisites: Nil.

This course introduces students to the most important types of ethical theories, including deontologism, utilitarianism, and natural law theory, as well as to a variety of challenges and alternatives to those theories such as egoism, relativism, and skepticism. Questions of applying these theories to real-life issues and problems will also be addressed.
