82:266 Introduction to Biological Psychology [Edguer]
Prerequisite: 82:161 or permission of Instructor.
This course provides an introduction to the nervous system and its role in sensory and motor functions. Topics will include: structure and function of nerve cells, neurotransmitters and synaptic transmission, research methods in biological psychology, structure and function of the nervous system, and the physiology of sensory and motor systems.
3 lecture hours per week, one term.
