This course features theory and methods of group therapy. Students will form groups that will become the vehicle for learning the organization, observation of dynamics and facilitation of group process. Therapeutic applications in various settings will be examined. Students will be afforded the opportunity to apply theory to practice in their student groups.

Students preparing for this course should realize the sensitive nature of human problems that will be explored and discussed.  The subject matter and issues that are examined will often refer to conditions in life that are painful, and at times, difficult to comprehend.  Should the need arise, I will be available to process the course content.
