Prerequisites: 6 credit hours in first-year English literature or permission of Instructor.

A study of the major literary works of the fourteenth century. Works to be studied include selections from Chaucer, as well as Pearl, Cleanness, Patience, Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, and Piers Plowman.
